BALLS!!!!!!!!!! Friend at work just told me someone dumped an intact 180 off at his junkyard. He just tossed it into the junk pile (now broken).
Damn...............
Damn...............
Well back to the drawing board.Thank you for taking the time to contact Sherwin Williams. I wouldn't suggest using any of them. The Macropoxy 846 should be used in tanks of 1500 gallons or greater and Duraplate 235 NSF is for tanks 60,000 gallons or greater. If used in a tank this small it would exceed the parts per million permitted in potable water.
The other problem is we offer no immersion rated products for wood. This substrate expands and contracts too much and could result in adhesion loss.
I'm sorry I couldn't help.
Regards,
Greg

I have been doing some research on overhead filters myself and it seems to me that the pro's defenately outway the cons.john73738;3977610; said:As I have said I am doing an over tank filter. I had an idea when I saw a thread over in setup/filtration. Rather than building a wood filter to go on top of the tank how about 2 or 3 10 gallon tanks or rubbermaid tubs?
Input would be by pump/spray bar, and would discharge by drilling the bottom or side.
First question is would this be enough bio media?
Mechanical would be on top of the bio media.
Pic (sorry for cheesy paint I am at work)
Thoughts please..
