Pics yall want...pics yall will get lol.

There is I think 13 koi 2 RES and 4 stink pot turtles you cant see. The UV in the tetra filter is busted so I have a aquarium one on the left side so I can see the fish until i get the tetra one fixed.

I got the fish from a local place in Port Allen LA called Ornamental Pond Fish...great selection and prices http://www.ornamentalpondfish.com/

That parrots feather started with only 4 sprigs jammed into the gravel in that container. It has really taken off the last year. I want it to full cover the container so you cant see it...im good one one side and its starting on the other side now.

Wow its looking good, those koi are getting pretty big, any plans on selling or re-locating the big ones? I am working on a 300gal rubbermaid pond right now and have 3 koi ive had for about a year that will get moved into it once its done but im sure they will outgrow it in a couple years. How many GPH is your filter and hows it holding up after all this time? Do you have to heat or cover it in the winters?

Once the koi get too big if I can't find the room to expand I'll sell them for smaller ones again. Pump is a mag 18 t'ed off some in the filter and some just flowing in the pond. So far it's done well. I don't do anything in the winter...no food...no cover...no heat...nada. Haven't had one issue. Only way I lost fish so far is 1 jumped and my sister over flowed it with the hose for a few hrs killing most of the originals.

Builing a couple of grand but what about general up keep cost on a small outdoor pond of about 2000 gallons with a full grown ASAGI, one SHOWA, a Butterfly and an Utsurimono?

I am planning on making the same style of pond. Are the Turtles able to stay in the water all year, or do you have to bring them inside during the winter? I live in Huntington Beach, so the weather should be about the same.

Upkeep is not expensive at all...just like a reg fish tank...cost of water de chlorinator UV bulb and food. Check out OPF on SELAS...thats where I got most of the Koi from...awesome place!
