New project, will take a long time

!!
that old saying that "ponds" are
big holes in the ground,
filled with water,
that you dump money into,
sure might be the case here...

but...

I always added if you dump enough money into it,
it has to get full sometime!;) :D

Sorry to hear about the troubles. You have done everything by the books and with patience and a clear head I am confident it will work out. As much as it sucks the process is part of the adventure.

agreed. we all know you will win this fight. in the end you will be happy but I know how you feel as you fight through this. when will the drain on my pocket end? and mentally it must feel like its killing you. look at the bright side you are seeing fish swimming around which is great. and in a short time you will be able to see them all again. we're rooting for you buddy. keep it up

with my "breaks" working sleeping and eating, it only took me 1 and a half days to get through this thread:WHOA: but well worth it, got a lot out of this thread:) i hope all clears up for you and money stops flowing so hard into the pond and you can sit on your patio enjoying your hard work:popcorn: keep us updated:popcorn:

Cheers buddy, there is certainly a filter issue somewhere. Worked last year doesn't work this year. I'm scratching my head with it all, trying not to spend any money, so its bi-daily filter cleans. I'm getting tonnes of crap out doing this just no results. Just got to get the temps over ten then I can nuke the fish with formalin which will clear all the parasites and take it from there.

Thanks for reading the journey, sorry you ended up at a bad spot in the thread, it does tend to yo yo between good news and bad;)

I think cool temp may be fighting you too on the clear water battle. I found I need the water temp consistantly above 60F or below 40F for 4 weeks to have clear water. Any inbetween time and its a mess.

Also for me changing or just adding more than about 10% water at once will trigger a bloom.
