You know, if you are drilling symmetrically you could make the slots offset to each other and still maintain strength...

I can see how this is going to pan out, I'll drill loads more holes and the flow won't be enough so I'll end up cutting it anyway Thanks for taking the time to post the diagram Zen, here's a couple more snaps of the new sport, 'extreme solvent weld fixing' to say thanks, either that or just me looking silly whilst being upside down

The crown of my head was in the water, it's a good job I was upside down and fitted the system shut off valve that I was going to skip on until Mrs Y convinced me otherwise or I would have needed scuba gear

I apologize for the blatant showing off of tanks in the back ground but Mrs Y said, 'If you insist on doing that in the living room at least get the tanks in the background'





Anyway if the inside fix works then we'll try this out tomorrow and see if it works
