Thanks guys, I'll get the rest of the flagging down on my next days off, then it's a matter of the return and then it'll be mothballed over the winter.

Then it'll be time for phase 2:naughty:
Huh? almost done? MOTHBALLED for the winter? OH no...what am I gonna do with myself till then?!??....:D :D :D

Sorry, I may do the deck over the filters at some point, it'll just need to be dry, I hate working with damp wood.

Anyway, I've just noticed your post count has jumped up 500 since I last checked, what have you been doing on here? I'm sure you'll cope;)

What ever are you going to do when it's finally finished?:nilly:

You like the flags laid?, I hate them(the flags that is not the result) same as the patio, everyone laid by eye as they are so uneven on the surface, yes I like them but if I could start again I'd go with level on the top, the way I've had to do it is level off the mix underneath and fluff it up a bit and lay on top, nightmare to do, especially to do on uneven ground. It's so annoying, if I'd not been ill this last few days it's been dry enough to get the whole thing done:irked:

Going to have a play with photoshop bare with me....

Awesome!

Thank you for the picture - now I can see how beautiful your yard looks :) You could easily turn it into a Japanese garden, my friend... all the essentials are there already :)

It's certainly an option for next year, the left side of the deck as you look out of the door is just a building site at the moment, I need to come up with something to go there and want to use the rocks from the old waterfall, I'm not sure how that would work with a Japanese theme. I've got all winter to work out a design though:)

LOL! our temperature all year round is about 10 degrees celsius! LOL! hot summers for 2 months a year and it's back to complete coldness! I remember all the fishy dying in there! O.o
