a ? how often was the concrete moisturized as it was curing just a thought, one thing we do here is to keep moistening it as it is drying to give a longer cure period though adding additives works as well

When its all done, could you spray the whole inside with epoxy/resin to seal up all the small cracks? Maybe stuff larger cracks with fiber cloth first. There was a guy on here that fiberglased a whole wall of rock with glas. I dont know the cost, or how much you would need...

I wanted to put peacock bass but customs wouldn't let me bring them in. I suppose I'll put the little african cichlids until the filter really start kicking in. I need to keep this thing super clean for my kids and my wife. When I've got plenty of good bacteria I'll puts some guapotes.
arent peacock bass from central and south america? my friend was fishing for them in guatemala a few weeks ago. thats one tough government if they wont let you import fish you could catch while fishiing.

I'm just worried about the line of rocks right above the ceramic. Right where the water line is. I want it to still be asthetically pleasing with out the leaks.

Are you sure you can get Peacocks or Peacock bass her in Costa Rica. Check again on the map and make sure you were looking at Costa Rica and not Panama. I've looked all over for these babies and can't get them any where here. No offense by the way.
