Aren't you worried about someone attempting to walk down the wet part of the stairs and slipping?

Maybe CR doesn't have all the liability fever we are stuck with in the states...

Your poolish pond is coming along quite nicely. That is a wonderful yard. Hanging out on that lanai will be a very special treat.

I've read this whole thread and it absolutly amazes me. You've done a superb job on everything. The vegatation, the rock work, and the way your blended it all together seemlessly is beautiful. Congratulations on a job well done!

Here is my pond"s state about a week ago. I can't see the tiles on the bottom which is about 4 feet down. I put finer sand in the barrel filters. I've been vacuuming the bottom about once every 4 days.

I just put the UV light from my other pond in the skimmer that goes up to the fountain in the apartments. I also added more plants in the fountain because the water is getting really warm. This may be part of my algae problem.

This is another picture from my laguna set-up and the water is crystal clear. This is without the UV.

After two days with the UV in the skimmer my pool is looking much better. I'll get some pictures tomorrow.

What are the plants in the bottom of the waterfall that look kinda like cabbage (in the 5th pic down)? They are really cool!
