Gorgeous. Did you get those from Grey? Or a different source? Very very nice indeed! :D Love the caudal fin, its intense! :D
No, I got it from a LFS in Houston called Fish Ranch II....when I last looked in there a couple of days ago, they still had two ($100). Its a neat (but destructive and vicious) specimen. Thanks for the comments!

Nice!! I love how they are all so active!!! I hope I can get mine to be that active in the 300gal. Its not bare bottom though. Driftwood and what not all over.

Top notch mate!! Thanks again for sharing! :D
well, bad news. Johanna started beating up the Xingu I and the Atabapo II. I sold the X1 (thought maybe having 1 less pike would be better plus I want a female and needed the money) and tried the A2 again, but it got beat up pretty good. When I took them out to quarantine, the Xingu was getting beat up pretty well and the Fire was stressing to the point where it got fin rot. After it healed, I put the fire back in and it got fin rot again and beat up. It's not looking so good, but I think it'll pull through. After it heals, it's going back with the gar and bichirs. If it doesn't pull through, I'm going to order an Atabapo I from Rapps

Ata 1's are redder than the 2's, only brighter red pike is Tapa 1 - they glow! I'd say get one from Jeff, they are exceptional, a deeper red color than Tapajos but can be on FIRE! We miss our pair.....
Too bad about your A2, thx. for the pics & info!

what i woulda thought, too

btw, the X1 survived and is doing well again :D the johanna is def more aggressive than the others, but the pikes are all getting along as well as you would possibly think

I am glad this worked out for you. And I remeber telling you the X1 was a female and the Johanna was the beast of the bunch. (Well of course except the one I kept) :naughty:. But I am pleased to hear that they found a good home. I love pikes but my vison of mixing them will be unfullfilled for now.

And then I read this. :( Man I don't know what it is with that Johanna but it's super aggro. ( Except when it was dealing with the Cobra) Oh well Paul I hope you can find a civil arangment for the pikes you have left. Whom ever got the X1 has gotten a Gem of a pike. Man I was really hoping it worked out. Oh well teaches us a lesson for wanting something that we may just not be able to obtain. THE ULTIMATE PIKE COLLECTION IN ONE TANK! P.S. anyone got any X3 :naughty:.

I just looked through all the photos in this thread and I want to say what a fabulous collection of pikes here on this site. Absolutly gourgesous pikes everyone. I will take a few of my lone pike and share with everyone later. Again great Pikes everyone.

the X1 and the T2 were getting along great and would've been fine together, but the johanna wasn't having it. It was just after 1 for a while, but then decided to go after both.
Oh, well, at least they both survived. I did lose my 2 lucius over the weekend when I was away :(
