Look buddy I like you so I'm choosing to not ignore the comment. I get that and YOUR totally within your rights to say what you feel but can you show me where he is ASKING to see his point of view ?

Either way I'm choosing to NOT see his point of view because he doesn't have one yet. He only has what he thinks is a point of view. Not to be rude but I'm moving on as is most of the contributors to this thread.

Hello; Did anyone see or hear about a man who got an infection after one of his dogs licked a cut on his body ( A leg I think)? It seems the dog licked a cut and transmitted some sort of bacteria.The guy had to have some limbs amputated. The news was on in the background today so I did not get the details.
I have seen people let a dog lick their face after the dog just took a drink from the toilet. I watched a neighbor this morning let her dogs out in the yard. Saw one roll in the grass. That can mean the dog had found something disgusting or dead to roll in. Then they went back in the house.

Hello; for what it is worth I had small jobs when 13. Mowing lawns, washing my dads car, Shinning his shoes. Worked as a helper on a Coca-Cola truck when I was around 15 and out of school.

I was selling illegal stuff when I was 12 until I started high school. Knives, lighters, cookies, matches, soda, cigarettes, the more illegal it was the more profit I made. (schools do not allow sale of food and stuff. ) Making pot illegal creates the drug dealers. If it where legal honest people would sell the stuff.
The government decides how you sell your car, why not your body? Why is sex holier than a car?
If the government controlled the sex trade, workers and customers could be checked for disease, and the criminal part of it would disappear,same as with pot.

Umm if the govt is involved in you selling your body that would be considered what?

Nope can't relate. I was working at 13. My kids want something they earn it with chores. They are much younger than 14 btw.

I got a 14 yr old telling me where to find out how my tax dollars are being spent. He routinely misses the point...maybe conveniently. His only legit gripe is my usage of "your" yup I'm guilty I'm to lazy to hit the extra character and don't care lol

Kid goes from posting about how to get mommy and daddy to let him keep a bigger tank to lecturing us about politics and social issues. Sorry but life experience is the best way to formulate an opinion.

Wow, you worked at 13. Good for you. Guess what, plenty of people didn't work at that age and they turned out just fine. Shocker, I know. How nice for your children.

Yeah I said that in response to you saying 'Maybe after you get a job and take a look at your paycheck and wonder "mhh where does that money they take in taxes really go"?". I don't really understand what wondering what the budget looks like has to do with looking at taxes deducted from your pay check.

Yeah I did want a bigger aquarium because my parents bought two goldfish even after I and the saleslady explained how large they would become. I wanted to grow them out and buy some time to find someone to take them because apparently larger goldfish are easier to sell. It wasn't because I was spoiled and greedy like you might think. Your argument as I said before, is a example of ad hominem.

I am not sure why life experience is more relevant than statistics and the facts. Anecdotal evidence is not a good way to get your opinion.

Hello; found a couple of links. I especially liked the comment in the second link that the odds were so rare that there was no need to get rid his dog. This to a man who just lost both legs, both hands and is due to lose a nose.

I have always heard that a dog’s mouth is cleaner than a humans. Never made sense to me after watching and being around dogs. I do not lick myself nor drink from a toilet. I have had some dog bites that got very infected, but not like this poor unlucky guy.

1) your not understanding. Not prosecuteing doesnt make the sale legal. Selling weed or being caught with large quantities will still be prosecuted.

2) govt getting involved in the sex trade lmaooo they got involved in health care and that turned out great.

I read a little about the poor guy who wound up having his limbs amputated due to infection from dog licks...I previously read that in ancient times people used to allow dogs to lick their wounds to aid in healing.This incident must have been some type of fluke case of a rare bacteria being involved.....I have never cared to let my dog lick me, for one thing his breath stinks and he licks his butt and balls all day long.I never understood how people let their dogs lick their faces.
