Here's my 125g planted tank, my first ever planted tank. The only pronblem I have with this tank is the stains above the tank..looks like a result from exposure to hard water, not sure! Enjoy!

Is that a fish in your suction tube? :)

I am sooo proud of myself. I have never grown plants well until I got my new tank with better lights. Since milfoil grows fast it showed signs of good health first. YESS
This is a native milfoil, either M. sibericum or M. verticallatum...

I started them out as one inch TURIONS in a pickle-jar in full sun, fed by copepods' waste and stuff like that. Once they got around 3 inches, i transplanted them to my tank. They look awesome. One grew considerably faster than the rest... they will look tidier once they get tall enough to trim. The tallest one is about 10 inches tall.

I have been hanging out here for a while, but I haven't posted any pictures here. I have a journal on another site, but I though some of the people here who don't get out much might like to see it. It is nothing great, but it is pretty big for a planted.

Some of the occupants.

3rd rescape attempt of this 15g long. Low tech, just a light, water, and some fish, maybe some excel and flourish dosing if need be. Still planning for moss on some of the rocks or maybe marimo balls. Residents will be a halfmoon betta, 4 x otocinclius, colony of cherry shrimp. Plants are trimmings and leftovers from other tanks.

Loving the planted tanks that everyone is posting...

I am loving them so much that I want to make my main tank a planted tank - but I have one problem I keep fish like O's and JD's which I have heard are terrible at uprooting.

Is there a way around this?
