What yeah guys think? my sculpin love it and are very active all over the tank threw out the day! even Angry Fish!!!!(the large female)

and a few shots of Angry Fish and the others!

lol this is her feed me face....

Do you know the range of these fish?? im in Indiana, and would kill for a couple of these :)
Prickly sculpin (the larger one) are all over the US literally, as well as the mottleds
Fast flowing rocky streams or rocky lake shores,
I recommend the lake shores late spring..boat launches are prime places, the smaller/younger you can get them the better they seem to adapt to tank life better.

I had collected a few adults and they did not fair well, the smaller ones on the other hand seem tough as nails.

I say lakes becomes they are used to warmer waters and lower desolated oxygen in that environment ^_^

good luck they are awesome fish....the look on peoples faces when i say i have these guys, most people have no clue what they are! love them....

And...if you cant find any i am going to be re homing 2-3 of the younger ones this spring...i know a LFS who will ship for me...

thanks.

I really do enjoy these fish, they are far and few between in this hobby , and on top of there neat personality's its one of the reasons why i keep them.
I don't ever seem to get much feed back on these guys on any sites really ^_^ but i love them, these are only a fraction of the pictures i take of my tanks and fish.

I have managed to freak a few people out...they get there face close up to the tank to look and see whats in it...and boo!! angry fish comes hopping out looking for food.

I have only found a few people who keep them at all.. and a few others who have them in the past. There has been little research done on there habits and personality's, its really neat to witness and document it.. i have a huge collection of pictures showing there color changes.. i should post them its amazing the amount of change they do.

Sculpins ROCK! I have Mottled sculpins.
