aiya, perhaps it is the lighting but it is not that gold color (a little pale but shiny with some blue hues) i see so often on the web =( but thanx for the compliment (when people see my xb they just say does not look so golden ... how depressing)wmkr;2916940; said:nice looking goldie u have there bro...look like 24k to me
Yeah, the red is on the other side of the divider by himself. BB and XB are on the same side. I was going to move XB to the outside tank with DATs in them, but something came up ... in any case, i think the DAT tank will be reserved for small aro arrivals next week...pressure_cooker;2916940; said:i think 24k XB refers to XB that has a full golden head, btw your goldie is still young, it may turn to be a 24k XB after sometime, i think you should seperate your arowanas, put them in their own tanks so that it will lessen the stress and there will be no problem with food.
^^ thanx. I love the shots from above - but these are difficult to make due to water movement and all thatuting;2917399; said:koolness
i think you should put the red at the outside tank so that it can be tanned, tanning is good especially for the red varieties.ctoychik;2917345; said:aiya, perhaps it is the lighting but it is not that gold color (a little pale but shiny with some blue hues) i see so often on the web =( but thanx for the compliment (when people see my xb they just say does not look so golden ... how depressing)
i will see how he goes when he will be on his own ... after i settle in my new arrivals next week HBRTG, black and green (+some super duper plecos)

BB will be moved when a new 8x3x2 is completed for silver aros then BB can go into the old 7 footer with stingray
Hmmmm, still one tank short for XB
PS: noted on the 24K bit though i always thought that golden heads where ...well ... golden heads (refered to head only and not the color of the fish .. i have seen some quite pale golden heads on the web)
it is too bright outside - i thought that reds require dark environment to color up.pressure_cooker;2919265; said:i think you should put the red at the outside tank so that it can be tanned, tanning is good especially for the red varieties.
wow good luck on your new community.
