Lima because they only get around 18 inches max.

Tigers can get 3 plus feet.

Be careful with either as both will eat fish the same size as they are.

I have a question about my newly acquired RTC :O

So I just bought this guy yesterday, because at only C14.99 I couldn't turn it down.
Anyways, hes about 4 inches, and in a 20 gallon tank with my 3 inch jardini arowana before I can upgrade their tank.

Anyways, I threw a piece of driftwood in the tank to give the RTC some security, and its taken to it very well. My only dilemma is that I don't think my RTC is eating :(
I put in some sinking pellets that my paroon shark used to LOVE, and the RTC didn't even touch them. I put some sinking shrimp pellets, and no luck with those either.
However, when I was feeding my small jardini some bloodworms, a few of the worms fell to the bottom of the tank, and I figured that the RTC would eat the leftover worms during his 'night-prowl'. Though I admit that most of the bloodworms from the bottom of the tank are gone, they could've just been sucked up by my powerhead and whatnot.

So, do you guys have any advice on what to feed my RTC before he decides to devour my jardini :( I personally think he could do it, but I chose to house him with the arowana because I figured that they would probably never come into contact, seeing as the arowana is a top-swimmer and the RTC dwells on the bottom.

Any help to get my RTC eating would be great :D

If they are large enough, they will swallow it whole, but if not, they will get curious with the heater and eventually break it :irked: and kill them selves in the process.

RTC swim on all levels during lights out, and many will during the day also, and yes be very affraid for your Jar.

Hopefully I'll be getting a tiger for my indoor pond. What is the best kind of food to use a staple?

Thanks,
Art
I use shrimp mainly. They love it and will even stalk it, and pounce on it. Gives them some major colors too.
