why do some rtc have gill flaps that curl out at the end? is it an environment problem or just a genetic thing?
i think thats gill curl man..its not normal..u need to raise the temp, add salt and avoid live food!

nahh i used to have an 18 inch ally snapper...it can rip to shreds much larger fish than itself..unless u can find an already huge RTC...minimum depth probably around 3 feet.

hi can anyone tell me what a rtc x tsn hybid should cost please. i ordered a rtc x marble from my local aquarium for £15 . but when it arrived it looked nothing like they said it would . and they still tryed to tell me its a marble. after geting the fish home i had a look at pics on the computer and can conferm that it is not a rtc x marble . it is a rtc x tsn hybid. he is about 5 inches so if someone can tell me what sort of price i should of payed for my fish i would be grateful. thanks

If not larger. Seems to be around the same growth and eventual size though. Mine is 38" after 4 years. Would love to see a pic of your's. Welcome to MFK.
