hi,I have one red tail catfish and is about 3inch long,I got him for 3 days now and he currently life's in my 90litres aquarium because I want him to get bigger before I will put him in my bigger aquarium :200cm by 50cm by 75cm .from my calculations it says that is 750 litres.
could someone tell me for how long could I keep him in my bigger aquarium before I will have to upgrade and what would be a minimum aquarium size?and also is there any way to make red tail grow slower?

.there is nothing you can do to slow the growth down. i think growth in fish is down to feeding good food and looking after the water if you look after fish the way they should be looked after your not going to slow anything. someone please say if im wrong about anything i have said. thanks

this totally depends on the size of the tank, the power of the filter and how much u feed the fish. it is not all about water clearness but also about the nitrates polluting the water. EVen if u have a decent sized fish tank with a good filter u shud try and change 25% of the water every 4-5 days
