I think my RTC broke a world record. It grew from 3.5'' to 9'' in ONE month. This is not a lie nor an exaggeration. It was fed many times during the day with pellet stuffed shrimp and fillets.

None. He'll be too big for that tank shortly, so you'll need to minimize tankmates until you can get him an appropriate (800-1000 gallon) tank. At that point, anything too large to eat is a good tankmate.

guys i am new to the monster catfish world. Ive kept some channel cats and 4 lines.. but nothing as big as my new tsn/rtc hybrid. Hes about a foot now ive had him for about 2 or three weeks.. long enough to learn his behaviors.. that being said he seems to be restless, always moving and swimming around the tank. this is the opposite of my channel and 4 lines. is this normal? should he ben still more or is it ok that hes on the move??

thanks guys

i recently bought a tsn, when the guy caught it out of the tank he chased it a bit and it smashed its face... when i got home i couldnt see the fish through the blood in the water and now it has healed bent up. is there a way to fix this through cutting it like gill curl or something?????????

Looking good, very nice rtc. Is it just the 2 big cats in there?

Don't know if it's a possibilty or helps as your pond's been up for a while, but I'm going for a blue tarp over the top of the liner on my big cat pond to avoid the black fish blending into black back ground problem. Could that work on yours?
