THE DEAD FISH THREAD!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
One of my RTGG's went crazy and ended up knocking himself senseless after smacking into the side of the tank and several pieces of driftwood, as he has done in the past but this time all attemps to revive him failed. Died on 3-14-2009 @ 3:15am.

He was my favorite out of the bunch, he'll be missed, but not forgotten.

Very sorry mate, lost my other bigg GG a few weeks back too :(

Found this in my tank, someone must have eaten the tail.

She was a pretty good pregnant guppy:

I couldn't resist, and the biologist inside of me just had to take a look.

I have tons of pregnant guppy's so not really much of a loss.

escape from the "Pick Your Own" tank??

jk. sorry for your losses chef and everybody

I had almost my entire 55g emptied out recently--I dont know what happened but everyone started getting sick (I think it was some tubercular blue rams from my LFS) and they all croaked except one angel, one rainbow shark, and one gourami. So I treated it with API tetracycline and then my tank turned crimson red and a bunch of foamy scum coagulated at the surface of the water. Now its just one gold gourami and a few of the plants left (some plants are still getting eaten away it seems; cant tell if its an infection or my booming snail population). Worst aquarium experience ever:

R.I.P:

"Unagi" -baby fire eel
"Boullion" and "Nugget" -breeding pair of gold rams
"Gabriel" and "Michael" -breeding pair of Angels
"Schnarf" - 6.5" rainbow shark
unnamed -2x ******* blue rams
"calcite" and "calcium carbonate" -baby marble angels

Whyyy???
