Anyone have a preference on vitamin supplements to soak tilapia filets in before feeding?
 
alright well after a hiatus from the forum I would like to add an addendum to this post.

I don't have a reference to cite, but from what I understand, market shrimp does contain trace amounts of thiaminase, but not enough to ever be a problem even as a staple part of a fishes diet. That means it's safe to continue feeding shrimp as a staple part of the diet.

That should clarify some previous comments.

to the best of my knowledge fresh fish are just "flash frozen" in temperates under -40 degrees and no preservatives is used. just kept on ice. do you have any info that supports the use of preservatives?

--- no i don't.. now a days there is many controversy in pet food specially in dogfood... i just wondering if pellet in fish it's realy preservative free..:)
 
--- i give my rbp variety of fish like Hard-tail mackerel, milk fish, catfish and saint peter. twice a month i give themn chicks from my birds and live frog..their tankmate are small algae eater and scavenger.. 7 rbp in 150 gallons.. what do you think guys?
