Tinfoil Barbs

i had two at first and they didnt seem too happy. i added 2 more and they instantly became friends. they are an awesome fish and its cool to see such a big fish school together. the older they get, the deeper the red in their fins. definately a monster fish
 
welcome, i have three large tinfoils with my oscars/silver sharks/plecs/birchirs....
they get huge,and greedy pigs as in seriously greedy.....
which ones do you have the true tinfoils, or the redtail tinfoil barbs?

What are those fern like plants you got they are great! I want them for my tank. How are they held in - looks like they come from the water surface how did you do that? Do they get eaten or not?
 
hehe there plastic ferns from wilkinsons at one pound each,
i have a 3d background and there hanging in the joins,,

recently got 5 of them, 2 albinos, 1 gold, 2 regulars with 5 balas, 8 spanner barbs, all cool fish, extremely active tank.
 
Is that a waterfall filter. I want one just to look at the waterfall (already have a good cannister filter). How can they attach if you have a lid?
