I use Trical Netting, an extruded plastic netting, which is supposedly UV-stabilized and chemical resistant. I think I'm going back to using fencing material to cover tanks for big PB. The chainlink electrified fencing might work on the cats.:naughty:

The PB that jumped out through the netting was found dead earlier this evening when I opened it's holding tank and tried to start medication as part of its quarantine.:(
Sorry for your loss Juan.

Only thing I don't like about metal netting is when the fish jump and hit it, they scuff themselves and may get an infection.

There's never an easy answer, is there?!

The first pic on page 7 looks like Erimyzon sp., some species of chubsucker. The last pic does not look like a juvi. bluegill to me.

The last picture is deffinatly not baby bluegill. I would agree on some type of chub / chubsucker on the first pic.
