Steaks were done. Hate cooking for others because it's never good enough. I like my steak a little red, my mom is ridiculously picky about hers and needs it perfectly pink or else she won't stop complaining. The last pic is of my mom's steak, I thought I made it perfectly but she was just non stop complaints about it. This is probably why my dad stopped cooking the steaks

hers looks medium rare, the way i like them, but seared hotter.

never the less there steaks, and look good to me!
 
Looks great. Our dinner was a little more banal. We had some prime rib roast, hand rubbed in garlic, onion, sage, and rosemary. slow cooked in a red wine sauce. We also had baked sweet potatoes as a side with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

My wife and son weren't around yesterday, so it was just me and my 2 girls. Took them to a fun dinner, teppanyaki......they enjoyed it.......forgot to get a pic :D

The searing on the outside is mainly from the pomegranate oil. I'm with you, rare to medium rare I'm happy
 
Parent weren't home but there was hamburger in the fridge so I decided to make burgers.image.jpeg
