Thanks. The UGJ is working very well so far. The only thing that I am not happy with is the fish keep moving all the sand off of the pipes and exposing them. Other than that I have no complaints.

hehe fish can be vindictive. My Malawi 90 gallon has a few fish that love to rearrange everything by night...... Plastic plants , gravel, And I am pretty sure they pushed my auratus out of the tank altogether :ROFL:

Thanks. There is 350 pounds of pool filter sand and 40 pounds of crushed coral.

It's worth it to me, I still haven't seen any waste on the substrate.

Indeed. I hate waste in my substrate but with gravel it just goes with the territory I may try pool sand some day not sure.

For the price it is certainly worth trying. Eventually I plan to switch my 55 and 210 over to sand as well.
