I just took a short video of the tank and the filtration. I believe most of the cloudiness is being caused by microbubbles. I plan on adding another drain line for the blackfin3600, I think that will take care of the problem.

Thank you.

As nice as it is to work on the tank and to watch it sometimes it's nice to just set back and enjoy a good movie on the big screen. Not too shabby of a picture for 106" screen. :D

I don't know if I have been neglecting my 55 and 210 or not but I just cleaned out the Rena XP3 on both tanks. Holy crap they were overdo. The 55 wasn't terrible but it was definitely in need. The one for the 210 is another story, there was so much waste in there I really don't know how water was flowing through it. Rather than clean out everything I threw away about half of the media. I added some new carbon, scrubbies, and polyfil mat. Everyone should be happy now and I'm sure the water will clear up a little more. The water in both tanks is already extremely clear but they can always be clearer. :D

I'll clean them out again in three or four months.

Now more importantly, I plan on trying to instal the reefkeeper on the 300 tomorrow. :woot:

Good luck on the install. I just cracked open a 2215 that had been under continuous use for about 3 months. Even with the help of other filters my ehfi synth pad looked like a muddy doormat.

Just performed a few tests.

Ph - 7.4
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - < 10

Also, the tank is extremely clear. I cut back the output a little on the blackfin 3600 pump. That got rid of all of the air bubbles and microbubbles I was experiencing. On top of that it also uses less wattage so that is a nice bonus. The reactor and meida are doing an incredible job as well.

Seems like everything is doing pretty well. Adding the 40 pounds of crushed coral really helped with my ph. Before adding it the ph was 6.4. Now I just need to pick up some crushed coral to put in the canisters in my 55 and 210.

The room does not have complete light control but other than that it is pretty close. The surround sound is incredible and the subwoofer is amazingly accurate as well. I have a couple of other friends that have theaters so we usually rotate when we have movie night. We usually end up having a movie night about once a month.

Most people enjoy spending time over here. Between the "theater", the fish tanks, pool room, basketball court, and a few other goodies there is something for everyone.
