Thanks everyone. Once the tank is finished I might do a "300 gallon tank - the project ends" thread. That is if everyone isn't sick of it by then. :D

The dovii have a 210 gallon tank so hopfully they will be fine. I'm hoping to end up with a pair, if not it will just be a wet pet tank with just one fish in it.

I didn't get much accomplished today. I did remove a little bit of sand / crushed coral and put it in my 55 gallon tank. It only took about 30 minutes or so to change that tank from rock to sand. I like it much better now, Lucy seems to like it better as well. It still has some floaties but it's clearing up quicker than I expected.

Thank you. My left knee (operated on 4/15) is doing better but it still has a long way to go. My right knee (operated on 2/13) is still hurting me quite a bit right in front of the knee cap. I was hoping it would be getting better by now. The physical therapy is helping but I'm still pretty worried. They are actually pretty worried about my right one as well. It hasn't been long enough to get worried about the left one yet. :)

I believe I will be able to get on the motorcycle in another week or two. I'm hoping to get on the road bike (bicycle) in two or three weeks. I won't be able to do any real workouts but it will be great to just get out there for an easy 20 or 30 miles. Just spinning the pedals on a short ride will be an accomplishment.

nice looking rd, how old is she?

maybe you can help me. i want to change my 72g to sand. right now my filtration is 2 emp 400's, ugf and a mag 350 filled with bioglass. my fish constantly uncover the ugf and i would rather have sand in there anyways so it's time remove the gravel. will i lose too much BB if i remove the ugf and gravel?

I have had her for a little over seven years now. When I got her she was about an inch long.

As long as you keep your other three filters running you should be fine when you get rid of your ugf and gravel.
