Any way, he went to a new home this evening! apparently going into a ten foot tank with five other big jardini and clown knife fish, soon as i get some pics emailed over i'll post them.

so now i'm fish-less

better get on with the tank then, in the mean time i'm just gonna sit in the summer house and play with my wood! :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

Definately want pics of that (the jar in a new home, not you playing with your wood) Let me know as soon as you want fish for the tank, got a female RD and an Oscar you can have too. Still undecided about giving up my Dovii.

Shame, i was just uploading some pics of me wood, it fits in there nice now after trimming off the bushy bits.

I'd def like to have the Jaguar, but not too sure on oscars or too many other cichlids, i don't want a brawl on my hands in there when the time comes, it gonna hard as it is getting a net in there to do anything, hope you don't mind mr satan sir?

your mrs satan, she's of med decent? Italian by any chance?

The RD and the Jag get on like a house on fire, thought they were going to properly pair up at one point but they've always just been friendly rather than trying to make frankeinfish. They're both very peaceful fish considering what evryone says their temperaments are supposed to be like, Jag's harmless and the RD only gets agro with the Dovii when he gets a little over excitable. Can't blame you on not wanting the Oscar, don't know what i was thinking when i got it!

Yep, half Italian.

how about using this stuff then? picked up some materials for work this morning and they had it on display, comes already mixed up. is slightly flexible, i'm going to ring the manufacturers and pick their brains, or should i just stick to loads more coats of the original epoxy???
I'd check if it's going to be toxic to the fish before using it. Any doubts then stick with good old epoxy:D

just sanded the filter box down ready for some more coats of epoxy this weekend, hopefully. i'm going to do the tank with an electric sander, it takes bloody ages by hand! :irked:
I'm confiscating your man card until you buy more power tools.
