it doesn't go wall to wall because i'm going to build the filter separately, out of 4x2 timber like the tank, then slide it in beside the tank to fit wall to wall when it's finished, so actually won't end up being nine foot long internally, the tank is just over six foot internally.
thought if i make the filter separate i can put the divides etc in it more easily then epoxy the internals,fix it to the tank and then epoxy the over flow from the tank into the filter, essentially making it as one.
It is bloody high! turned out higher than i had planned really, probably give me hassle i reckon, especially when it comes to glazing the front. fingers crossed no problems!
