Just a few (from what I can tell). It's not exactly easy to keep tabs on several hundred small fish. The best I could do was count them as they went into the tank. It's easy to tell if you have three of a species, but only count two. When you have 150 of a species and lose 5, who would know???

jeez that's nuts.......is there a whole lot of predation and aggresion in the tank already though? i can imagine those big TSN's and stuff would be eating the smaller fish........

I've actually kept what would normally be predatory fish in with smaller schooling fish quite well in large systems prior to this. Up until the Musky, Ihadn't lost a fish due to predatation. There is enough habitat for the smaller fish to hide in. Also, the larger cats and things are very accustomed to being hand fed.

By the way, I just got out of the water again. About 30 minutes ago that little bugger musky jumped over again today!! This afternoon we are going to raise the 5 foot high mesh barrier between the two tanks all the way to the ceiling!

Hee hee...that's nuts! He obviously enjoyed his last meal! Good luck with keeping him out from now on! Is a Musky the same or similar species as the Pike we have in the UK? Looks like it...

you may have answered this before, but i was wondering where do you get the fish to stock that tank? You got some monsters in there, are they all imported?

Very similar but like 4 times the size of a pike. They are usually just all green where as the pike is spotted. Unless it is a Tiger Musky which is the hybrid of a pike and a musky, they end up being striped.
