Yes, the big day is tomorrow! The arapaima needs to clear the 30 quarantine time, so he won't be out for day 1.
Feeding is mixed. I really like Mazuri gel diet. I've been using it for years and get great results. I also mix in various pellets, krill, capelin, smelt, earthworms and I'm starting to work in a good mix of fresh veggies as well.

The main push is from twin 25 hp pumps that feed into four large horizontal sandfilters which are backwashed twice a week. We also use ozone (much smaller pump) fed into a contact chamber, run into a destruct tower and fed back into the main return line to the tank.

Water is pulled from both an over flow skimmer as well as two main suction vents on the bottom. Water is returned to the tank via a reverse under gravel feed as well as a surface spray bar at roughly 1,100 gallons per minute or so.

If you are watcing the webcam today (and everyday from now on) at 2:30 PM (Central time in the US), you'll see me in the water feeding. :headbang2

Absolutely AMAZING job. Huge congrats to you for all the hard work you have put into that thing. It's awesome. I'm talking to a buddy of mine and we are considering making the long trek out there to see the display. Seriously awesome!!

You should wait until they put a water park in the MOA.

Maybe they will consider putting a water slide through one of the displays at Underwater adventures.
