^ Thanks for the comment...

Also, for those interested i've been reading up on growing HC, and while every one agrees its a high-light plant, a lot of people say the Co2 factor plays a more important role on how well it will ultimately do...

So got my fingers crossed that mine may still work out, and going to have to go out to fish street one day to see if i can find myself a drop checker...

Finally gave into the last piece (hopefully) of equipment the drop checker...

Just set it up now so will have to wait for the results... Although i did find it funny that it says to use aquarium water in the drop checker, since i thought you normally used distilled water?

Anyway, as said just have to give it some time and see the results...

Looks great!

Just to give you another heads up on the HC, I just noticed that my HC isn't looking so lush. So it looks like I may need to add some CO2 again. Did well for a few months without CO2, but yeah...it needs more than good lighting at this point, lol!

^ thanks Ben, and yeah, i looked around online and asked around a little and most agreed that for HC, Co2 seems more important than lighting in a wat...

^ Thanks, I was actually meant to post up some update pics over the weekend but got a bit caught up so will try and get them up over the next few days...

But yeah, i mean plants wise, everything seems to be doing okay, the HC is even bouncing back so just waiting to see how that goes, although over here we've been stuck with high temps lately (around 32 - 34'c) and no breeze so been trying to think of ways to keep the tank cool when i'm not at home...

Although even the LFS people have been saying, just a few more weeks and we should start getting slightly cooler temps which will be good for the plants, so really just waiting for winter to rock around so that i can see some real improvements on my plants...
