Ok these are Pedro's pics before he sold me the fish. I did not pay $300 for it, Pedro put that price there because he liked the fish so much he wanted to keep it for himself, hoping that no one would buy it. It came to a point he had only a couple Xingus left, a 6" and the 5" here. He said the 6" one was a real wuss and the 5" one was real crazy and he didnt want to sell it but he didnt want to stick me with the wuss either(the 6" one left is probably the one in the pic on the 1st page) So I worked a deal with him for the 5" he wanted to keep...I'll take some more pics of it with my own cam when I set up its new tank. here's the fish...

man, that's a nice one, the red eyes are crazy, LOVE IT.
I should've gotten one of those when they first came in...oh well. so it chases your finger now? you gotta show us a video :) feeding video or other kind are always welcome...
 
Yeah once I get the permanant 72 he's going in ready i will do all that.

You should've gotten one, he had the Xingus for a while, just ran out in the past day or 2 from what I heard. Here's all the fish I ever bought from AS in the past 7 years.

4Golds, 1Elong, 1BM Elong, 20+Reds, 1Piraya, 3 Blacks, 2GoldDiamondRhoms ,1Caribe,1Sanchezi,1Brandtii, 1 Gibbus, 1 Manueli,

nice, how are the gold diamonds? what size? got any pics?
 
I'm gonna be honest with you about the Gold diamonds I owned, they did not impress me much. I got a 3-4 inch one and a 7 inch one(last year), they both died(the big one from shipping wounds within 3 days). The 2 I owned never showed much temperment. I'm not saying all GDRs are mellow, but the ones I had were. Nice looking fish though...
I think I still may have a pic of the smaller one somewhere.

see there's a smart man getting a nice shoal of caribes... but that must've been expensive as hell. What size are they? Where they from.. AS?

What size your diamonds? Tell me about the Black Diamond because I'm getting a 6-7" soon.
