Time to lighten this thread up.

Just got back from my little get away. We stayed at the Bedford Springs Resort http://www.bedfordspringsresort.com/default_.asp

Amazing place! 5 star resort. Highly recommend! If you're ever in southern PA or even want to get away, this place is worth a visit. Warning, I dropped as much on the room for the night as I did on all the Sanitred products :D  Including all the "extras", it was about 3 times as much! Well worth every penny. SO bring your check book.

I realized that the spot we were going to go fishing would be crowded because of the weekend, so we drove to our "secret" spot. This stream is about a mile and a half walk from the nearest road and has 4 miles of fly fishing only. The walk alone deters most from fishing it, and it can be a challenging stream to fish. I call it my home stream, since it's only about 45 min from my house. We were lucky, and we had the entire 4 miles to ourselves!

Enough talk.

the indoor pool. Mostly original subway tile.

The entry lobby. The first trans-Atlantic telegram was sent from Queen Victoria to President James Buchanan who received it right under those stairs on August 16th 1958.

My wife took this pic this morning.

I love this place!

Beautiful morning on the stream.

ah. the first relevant thing to this site. Sorta kinda. I ended up landing 12, and I don't know how many hook ups from 7:30am to 1:00. I would have taken more fish pics, but it's hard landing a fiesty trout on a 3 weight rod with 7x tippet, then fumbling a blackberry to get a picture. Really didn't want to drop my phone in the drink, so I kept the clumbsy photo ops to a minimum. I gotta suck it up and buy a good camera!

the cascades. The stream is low since it's the end of summer, but people actually white water raft this river in the spring and fall. That's also the best time to fish.

These are just two views from the scenic look outs above where we were fishing. The river snakes through the lowest cut there. If you look, you can make it out. I love southwestern PA!

yeah, not really monsters. I saw some monsters in there though. I wrestled a 25-28 inch carp out of the water with my hands   They (two of them) were spawning (i guess) up in this stream, and they kept swimming up through the holes and messing up the fishing. SO I "re-directed" them. :naughty: It was fun. except I got slimed.

So I was thinking, and I think what I'm going to do with the tank is anchor metal lathe over top of the sanitred coating, then cover with about 1-2" of concrete. Then seal that with pond armor.

Any thoughts? The more I think about trying to get this stuff off, the more I want to install something over top of it and just leave it in place.

Slimed , carp are fun.

Mount the lathe on 1" standoffs and press the mixture thru the lathe and level out at 1/2" to 1" on the outside (inside), that way it will be one solid wall. No doubt you already thought of this since you had that respite 'carp wrestling' to clear your mind :D.

I say take the easy route and skim coat with LBR then the other stuff over it. It would seem cheaper, faster and easier.

BTW How would you seal the pond armor to the sanitred product and guarantee you won't have any leaks along the edges and the bottom seam?
