I noticed that I had not mentioned a good friend of mine who was also in the tank that day catching fish.

Jeff Mountjoy from Midland Ontario a hobbyist with Pangasius sanitswongi and large cichlids,m a member of the new Barrie and Region Aquarium Society and works at Martin Mills inc a pet food manufacturer and source for my trout and koi pellets.

He actually is smaller by about an inch or two to the Red Tail Golden arowana (Scleropages aureus) already in the tank. I had an incredible super red that died in 2000 that was the best Scleropages I ever owned and raised but only 26".

my god i would give almost anything to have a tank that required a wet suit to clean

My daughter and son in law have been working over the past month replacing the Sand filters which I had placed the multi density media in and have used since 2006 with new bead filters.

Hope to have pics of the new set up soon.
