I did ask about that, they said they'd never sell him, been there far too long and only ever been alone in that tank- he gets aggresive with company. Disturbingly, he gets more active at the sound of childrens voices......
They do have some 2'+ pacu they offered me at £10 each if you bring something down to be able to take them away in......

Just read through the whole thread. The plan in my head has changed a lot since i started! Will have to list all the differences when i'm done.
Todays lesson: Don't fall asleep during the syphoning stage of a waterchange even if you think the hose is secure at a certain level so you won't drain too much out. I think you can see where this is going. Pump ran dry for a bit but is still working and the fish only had about 8" of water left.
