Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Did the stuff between glass canopy and tank rim method. I had no space for the f1vet method. I just have the roots dangling, fish have left them alone and one jag in particular has made it his new home. I forgot to clip the ends, how important is this? Cause it would suck to have to unstuff all these plants (or maybe i can clip them under water, lol next lounge post: will you use kitchen scissors in your tank?) but anyways i digress, point is you can see in the pics how much light is coming in by the shine on the wall. :) enjoy!

Plenty of light!

depending on the plant the root trimming can be critical or not, i would just pull it out real quick and snip an inch off the roots, it will take a minute but well worth it and it will acclimate faster and grow the water roots faster in order to absorb the necessary nutrients to start growing!

Cut a vine on the stem where a notch is, cut it at a 90° angle.

Lol yeah I got to get a sponge holder now the air line holders can't hold both plants so they fall in a lot now. The smaller clone is starting to grow roots. I guess the tank water helps it grow a lot faster cause I had the smaller one in a little in my window and just now started to grow roots when I moved it to the tank.

I'll share a bit

Here's some trimmings I did. I just use the runners/vines with no leaves and they'll sprout new roots and eventually a small planlet
