Actually, there is no fudge factor room. The overflow is maxed out right now while it is new. As it ages and the flow drops, the water level will rise. A second overflow is warranted.rallysman;926753; said:Perfect shot! That's exactly where the water level should be for those who ask.
A ball valve is only to tune the system to control noise. As long as noise isn't an issue, it is fine without one.JustLooking;926893; said:Not on this one, ball valves are $ i didnt wanna spend.

Um you got the wrong thread, this ones for people that dont want to or cant drill there tanks...mercury904;935825; said:I think this is the simplest way...here I included 2 options ,you can either make a hole on the bottom of the tank or at the side of your tank, you can use a power drill to make a hole on your tank(use the tip that is used in making a hole in a glass) never rush your glass when drilling it.. just make a steady hand and let the drill use its weight to prick the glass... you can choose on a variety of diameter you like, its best to have the biggest possible PVC pipe for it to accompany the most strongest water pump....comments...comments....comments...thanx sorry for the presentation I unninstalled my sketchup
