it was amazing. I took it out this past weekend. smooth like butter.
and it casts noticably farther than the older stradic I was fishing it side by side with. that new line propulsion system actually works.
which is a first I think. 99.9% of the time its gimmick marketing and you don't notice a thing out on the water. not so this time.
it really is that good. when the visa bill comes in, I will just run away. thats all.

I havent been for that very reason, evern once the suns goes down the fish are still taking there time on feeding. Today was a nice break from the heat wave!!
well its been a solid 4-5 days since anyone has had any updates so i figured i would post this little guy i got this morning
went out on the boat saturday to test her out, everything worked great and was ready for sunday. i caught 4 channel cats saturday, and we took the boat onto the river yeterday to catch the fireworks and caught 6 more. biggest was 4lbs 7oz.
water temps on the river here in the past 2 days hasent been below 84 degrees. there are dead fish floating around all over and some of the fish im catching look like dog****. this summer is going to be rough on my catfish population.

I dont know if this was from disease or them falling over the edge of the dam and dieing due to that becuase the water was very high. The smallies population is greatly declining too. There are many reports online about all the crap that is wrong with them and how the population can soon be depleted blah blah blah.......
If you ever have the time or chance, we are killin the channels down on the delaware. My friends dad got 40 in 4 hours out in his boat with the biggest being just shy of 14 lbs.

Between being way too hot, work, and not having the my boat I havent really been beat for fishing. A few times I went a out and finally on July forth the "Bass Bus" was back in action.
On the 26th Dennis and I went to the PA D&R canal, the NJ D&R canal and ended the day at the river. Dennis landed a nice size bluegill while using a small crank bait and had two smallies on in the river. I landed my first smallie of the year in the NJ D&R canal but nothing in the river for me.
The 28th was just a quick 30 minute trip to the college of NJ right at dark. It wasnt popping at all but I did land my first ever chatter-bait fish.
The cess pool was the spot on the 1st. I banged 3 and Dennis got 2.
For the 4th the "bass bus" was ready for its first trip since breaking down. I know it was going to be pretty hot so we were on "Mercer Lake"
at 5:15am. I didnt catch alot but most were decent size. Dennis landed 2 and lost a nice three pounder at the boat. It felt so good to be back on the water!!! FWI- the chatter bait is finally catching fish for me!!!
Lately Ive lost some drive for fishing due to alot of reasons but its still a feeling that is unmatched!!
