FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Nice fish fiend!!!
Countdowns are pretty good lures though.
Last few days have been kinda boring. The carp are on to me and are getting harder to catch caught a 16 incher (with my fly rod) but missed three that day. I took a friend out and hooked into a large carp (with a fly) i handed him the rod and freaked out. He reeled the wrong way and reeled out ten feet of line before i stopped him, it created a nice little birdsnest too. he grabbed the line and it snapped imediatly.
Yesterday i got bored and fished 4 blugill. In about 45 minutes i had only caught 5-6 small ones.
four days ago my spinning rod snapped setting the hook on a bass and when i was about to leave the lake the owner handed me 100 bux to get a new rod!!!!:headbang2
I bought a 45 travel rod at cabelas and fly fishing lures, also i got two rapala lures and 20 pound test braid! The rod came in the mail yesterday and it is awesome!!!! worth every penny. Fished with it this morning with my new 20 pound braid and was very impressed. It was slow and only caught a 13 inch bass but it was still fun i missed two bass one of which was probably big.

Good post!!!

At the moment I just came form the bay with my dad. It's a big storm here in NJ so we had to call it quits very early. I wasn't able to land nothing but a oyster cracker. The only thing that was worth keeping was a very nice size white perch my dads girlfriend got. She caught most of the fish and the only thing different is that her hooks had small Colorado blades on them, it made a big difference today!!

your tellin me...I was out this morning before i called it quits in about a half hour. It was pouring and i got 1 white perch and that was my day.

Yeah the rain rolled in heavy but it's rolling out as we speak. So Dennis and I are going to try out the "Amazon" very shortly!!

I took my kayak out this morning for some bass fishing in a local lake. The bite was ok, I landed 3 fish in about 1.5 hours. Once the sun came up it really started to heat up and the bite stopped instantly. I attached a crappy picture from my phone of the largest one.

Very nice high 2's maybe low 3's!!!!

caught a nice salmon (and two rainbow trout) off a local pier here in Lake Ontario.

here is a pic of the salmon.

its very unusual to get salmon off piers here until the fall, but apparently the water temp is still cold so the fish are still up shallow.

people are also getting them out in 50 feet of water with downriggers etc.

but there is action right off the shore at the moment. way cool!:headbang2
