The first spot of the day was "Chesnut neck" boat dock in Port Republic,NJ. I dont do much saltwater fishing but I couldnt tell my dad no. The only thing that was really running was oyster crackers(ugly fish). I landed on, pops got two of the them and his GF got 4 of them along with a puffer fish and a very nice size white perch that was caught where a river met the bay. The rain ended the day around 11.

The "Amazon" was my second adventure today. Dennis and I begun at 2:30. The bite was pretty constant up until 7:30 when the shut down on us. It was a mixed bag today with us landed CP's,bass, and Dennis catching a very nice yellow perch!!

No monster landed but today was an ok day of fishing!!!

Just got back from trout fishing. Caught 3 trout 2 hatchery Rainbows and a wild brown. My friend also caught a wild brown on a panther martin.

We started at 6:30am and the bite was SUPER slow. Dennis was able to break the ice with a very small white perch on a crankbait around 8:30. I was still waitting on the first strike and getting alittle reastless until KABOOM a very nice 3.11 smashed the buzzy at 8:47!! The bite was still slow but it picked up around 11 and went pretty strong until 2:00. I only got 10 but most were over two pounds!! Again today the chatter bait was my number one, I really slept on it, im killing the bass with it!!! Dennis did his damage mostly with the crank bait, and the spinny!! He had a mixed bag by landing LMB,W.P., and Y.P.!!! At one point we found a point where the water went from 6 to 18' and MAN the fish was there!! We landed a quck 6 in like 10 minutes(1 double), it was pretty dam cool pulling them out of deeper water!!!

Not alot landed but it was fun finding them on this hot day!!!

Well tonight i decided to man up and do some night time fishing since there wasnt anything better to do. I ended up getting 7 fish tonight. 2 catfish and 5 white perch were landed. I did not land any fish once it got completely dark out which was around 9ish. I noticed that it was much harder to tie hooks on and all of that stuff in the dark lol. My bigger cat was landed later in the night right before it got really dark. I wanted to stay later in the night but ended up leaving around 10 becuase everybody under the age of 18 has to be in doors by 9 o clock becuase the city is under a state of emergency in the past month blah blah blah. So pretty much it was a fun time cut short so i wouldnt get introuble.

omg the rain did it, the catfish have been so scarce here lately and havent had any good days. And when it rained saturday it poured for most of the day. took the boat out sunday morning and put a hurting on them. I caught 18 channel cats and my dad caught near the same. out my 18, 15 were 3lbs and over (keepers) with many in the 5's. We did not keep any, but 18 brings my total for the year to exactly 400 fish.

my dad likes to bring his light light rod catfishing. Big fish for the day 6lb 10oz and he caught it on the light rod, it took him about 10 minutes trying to ease this fish in. I was laughing whole time as he didn't want to break his line again.

Awesome! That looks really fun.
Saturday night i fished a private pond. First cast i landed a small bluegill on a bass popper with the fly rod. I got my new spinning combo and stuck with that for the rest of the day (which was stupid) anyway the fish were super cautious. I had sseveral big bass roll under the lures (3-5 pounders) i got some bites but only landed two bass a 12 and a 15-16 incher. Unfortunately i didnt get a picture

Man you guys make me miss fishing. It's been a couple of years since I stopped pulling up 20" Walleye from the bottom of Sacandaga Lake in NY.

Thats a nice fish, sounded like a fun day...your channels in the susky look much different from mine in the delaware. Mine our a more silverish color while yours are a more yellowish. Interesting....
