XechoX, thats the type of buzzbait i bought at first. i bought it because of as bill dance movie where he mentioned the clacker.
Yesterday i was going to the check out line with a strike king buzzy but i saw how cheap it looked and ran back to exchange it for the booyah clacker. It worked earlier today!
I knocked it out of whack when i had to pull it out from some drift wood but i bent it back and it works fine again.

I hate the booya clicker buzzy, I perfur the 2.99 strike kings that dicks sporting good sells hanging from a tag(no box)!
I fish buzz baits quite a bit. I have found that size and color do play a role in the bite, but another notable factor is the sound the propeller makes.
The Booyah buzz bait has a loud, sharp 'click' when you pull it through the water at a decent pace. I find that it attracts larger, or more aggressive fish. If the fish are moving slow or are being more cautious then I'd switch to something more subtle.
It's also good to compare top speeds. In other words, how fast do you need to pull the buzz bait in order for it to sputter. You have to move the Booyah buzz baits along at a good pace, which fits their profile - loud, fast, and attracts aggressive fish, but that's not to say slower moving buzz baits don't work.
I also have a cheap
Northland? buzz bait that I like to fish when its really calm. It is much lighter and the propeller is much wider than the booyah, so you can pull it much slower and it still stays at the surface and sputters. Works great when its calm and you don't need the extra noise or speed.
They all have their uses. You just need to find out which types are working that particular day. Overall though, I'd say buzz baits are one of the most fun lures to fish for bass and pike/muskies. Lots of action.
