You are getting it Wednesday???? I emailed the guy and he told me they ship on Monday and Thursday and arrive on Tuesday and Friday respectively. I want mine to come on Wednesday which is what I asked for.

BTW I decided to add another flame to my trio so it will be a foursome. Figured the male would be happier getting more action. lol. I will also let everyone else know how my transaction goes.
 
Oh and that pic is ridiculous. That will be one sweet fish.
 
Some of the wrasses on that site are just silly. I would love to have some of the lineatus ones he has.

That being said, I Got the air bubble out of the cpr overflow. The issue was that the tubing they send with the overflow is absolute crap, and had collapsed. It wasnt letting any air through.

I sucked out the air myself, and then replaced the hoses with some new stuff.

My skimmer "mod" appears to be working, as today I had skimmate in the cup! Hip hip hooray for taking the hacksaw to a $600 piece of fish equipment :D

No, its actually taller than that!

Its 34 1/2"!

This is not the distance between the bottom of the stand and the bottom of the tank though.

General updates, I got the media reactor running (matrix carbon for now) skimmer seems to have stopped producing...there is a little less than a half an inch for the last two days, and it is very clear. I think this skimmer may be MAJORLY oversized for this tank, but that is okay as the bioload is far from what it will be when stocking and growout is complete.

Below is a general picture off the website where I just bought a potters wrasse!

Now its time to get out that tusk!

ive notced the same thing with my skimmer. i have aqua c remora hang on. it produces good skimmate but takes a week to fill the cup. mine isnt clear but fairly light.

i like those wrasses.
 
My remora on my 75g tank does about 1/3 of the cup a day or so.

My EV400 did about an inch in two days, and now has done half an inch in two days at a much lighter color. I just think that it had some work to do after replacing my old skimmer...and now it has removed most of the waste from the system that the skimmate levels will go down and then settle out at whatever the bioload is.

If that makes sense to anyone else haha.
 
Exactly.

And, I wouldnt think so. TDS meter is measuring the total dissolved solids...(duh) and there is so much dissolved in saltwater that it is not really a good means of determining h2o quality.
