Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

new fish looks like a FLG to me...quite a bit of variation in the species as we all know, but this seems to fit one or two of the many variants we have seen over the years. retaining the lateral stripe can go on for quite some time in several species...even past a year in some cases. nice fish--

Yes, that appears to be a Florida gar. It looks like it's starting to develop a nice pattern, too!
