Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

Ok! I will, I'll try to take a picture of the gar at the exhibition tank at the LFS, it really seems to be a cuban (thick body, short snout, olive color, no spots... etc)

ok cool. gar at the exhibition may be a Cuban if it matches the other ID (check the reference website), but the gar you have posted photos of earlier is definitely NOT a Cuban gar and is a Florida gar--

Ok! thanks for your help! Any ways, is there a special feeding process for young Florida gars like mine? I haven't found a website that details it yet...

Give it quarantine feeders (preferably rosy reds or minnows) until it gets to be 8-10" long, then start working on pellet training.

My friend just caught this gar can anyone tell me what kind it is I am in South FL if that helps
