Eheim gets my vote. Been running a 2026 for 8+ years. I just bought my 3rd one last week.
Rena seems to be good also. I've been running an xp2 for about 3 years. My only problem with the xp2 is that looking at the design it would seem to bypass the filter media if it got clogged so the flow rate remains constant and you have no relative gauge to when it needs to be serviced. But if you keep it on a schedule - great filter.
