GW is due to too much light. You should make your photoperiod 6 hours. A UV will work, and shrimp will definitely work man.

its hard to say, but no, its not beneath the other leaves. ill try to take a pic when i go home for lunch in bit. check back later...
ok here's some quick pics. sorry theyre really crappy and its hard to tell the true color due to the GW. one of the pics looks really yellow and its not like that. its more a light brownish color. any ideas? does this look like a nutrient deficiency?
yeah, its next to a window, but the back is solid black and this is what faces the window. outside of the window there is a porch. so if any light that reaches the tank is just regular ambient lighting. here's a pic again...
