Keeping Gar in a Pond?

They're not that easy to find; I only see them once or twice a year, but I know they are still there. The spotted gar are considered endangered in PA, and the longnose gar are a candidate, so they aren't the easiest fish to find and catch. How could I catch a longnose, though?
Any ideas as to best place in Western PA to catch longnose gar and what are the best lures/bait?

I still have had no luck with catching any longnose... I'm going to order some of each soon if need be.

I had a friend growing up through high school and college and he was always talking about this way to make extra money. He always talked about it for YEARS and never did anything until one day another friend helped pushed him to get him going. As he was getting the idea started he died in a freak accident that wasn't his fault at all. Now running with the idea his friend is running the project and literally made a few million dollars and is still doing well.
Trust me, I've learnt first hand.

I'm trying, lol. I would rather fish for them first, and order more later if need be; it would be much more cost effective.
