Keeping Gar in a Pond?

you guys seem to give some high prices for alligator gars! I get Legit ones that are 8-12" for 20$ at my LFS!

Say goodby to everything else in your pond if you put gator gar in there.... i reckon you should put spotted or florida gar in there. but thats just me.
Ya, gator wouldn't be able to fit some of the fish in it's mouth. Florida gar wouldn't be able to survive up here; spotted gar are endangered in PA. Longnose are my best bet; a single gator gar might be a possibility but is unlikely.
