There's no swimming in there except for deer and my neighbor's dog (which I dislike greatly), so no one should get eaten lol. I have a bunch of breeder size minnows in there, and I add various sized minnows from the same creek weekly in the summer to keep the numbers up for the eatable ones. There are 4 walleye (18" average), 8 smallmouth (24" average), 1 flathead catfish (3'), 100s of minnows, and a yearly supply of bass fry. There were a few small bluegill, but I think they got eaten. There must be a good supply of other food since some of the bass born last year are in the 6-8" range this year. I have yet to lose any of the fish that I have put in that are 8" or up (except for some trout I put in but those died because the water got too hot that summer). Could I grow them in a separate pond and add them later?
