Krobia xinguensis

They used a broken flower pot the first couple of spawns then on a slate in front of the flower pot then on a rock and in a cave. Seems now they have no shame and just do it where ever they want.

My K. guianensis started by spawning on the outside of flowerpots, now they spawn either inside the flowerpot or on the driftwood in front of it.

Thanks guys. I guess rocks would do :)

And of course the video I posted earlier of the courtship activity was from 2011.
 
No, the smaller four were yellow and already had quite a bit of orange on them. The older ones as you can see were grayish white and the orange didn't come in until later. When the first batch came to me in October 2009 they were about 2" so they were probably four to six months old or so. I guess that means they should be three this year.
 
Courting intensified this evening. Both dropped tubes big time (you can see it on the female). Thought they were probably going to go through with it.
