Lots of pics past and present

I got them from my local fish shop prestwood petzone.They do sometimes stock some good quality cichlids.
 
Here are a couple of pics of my little melanura.
I have three at the moment and they gave me nothing but grief to start with.
They started eating each others scales.I separated the main culprit and waited for the other two to heal.
All three are now back together and the scale nipping seems to have stopped.

I have 3 of them.I know which one is the culprit, it's just such a pain trying to catch him.I added these to the 7foot not long after moving the helleri in there.

Do you think adding more would disperse the aggression? It seems like they stay in groups, like thorichthys species.

It's not aggression, it's a feeding strategy.
I've seen it before in melanura and hetros.
They sneak up on the victim and pinch a scale.
Once they get a taste for it it's hard to stop them.
