I love my rams they are great little cichlids. Can't recommend a group of them enough.
Looks great... I picked up a festivum and after losing my last male apistogramma... Given up on apistogramma now.
Really great underated little fish, loves fly's I catch around the house. They remind me or gourami.
Mine is currently with 6 red eye tetra, a female appisto, a queen gold nugget pleco, 6 Cory skunk and bronze and a meesi cat.

Festivum are one of my new favourite cichlids, I never paid them any attention in the past but I really like mine.
They have become more attractive by the week.
You will see some really nice hues of green and blue to their flanks as they grow.
Really nice fish.

Hi is that geo a red head? ... I got those sold to me as red heads, tho most pics red heads have more red heads and more hump like faces... did I get scammed?
No none of those were red heads.
Juvenile red heads or stressed out ones will not show the red. If yours is new or very young, give it time and the red may develop. Or you may have been scammed. Impossible to say without seeing the fish.
All geos look very simular especially when young. There is more than one species in the pictures of mine you quoted.
Post a pic of yours and we may be able to Identify it.
Been collecting .Added a boat load of magnolia leaves to the tank, some palm fronds and dead bamboo from the garden.
I added another pair of apistogramma trifasciata yesterday. That makes 2 males and 3 females.
I have 11 bolivian rams, three pairs have spawned recently. I pulled some fry out today to grow on.
Festivum still haven't spawned but they keep acting like they will soon.
The planting is taking well and I'm starting to get some good growth now.
Really enjoying this tank and it's one of my favourite set up to date.
